I was reading Stephen King’s 20 Tips for Becoming a Frighteningly Good Writer by Jon Morrow and it inspired me to pursue writing even more. I haven’t read his book on writing yet but I am going to buy a copy and read it till I make it, ha!
When I was young, I wrote letters and poems that made my parents laugh because I was using words that didn’t make sense. Looking back now, I realized that even when I was still young, I wasn’t limited to the norm. I was creative. My young mind believed everything is possible. I still believe everything is possible if you put your mind into it. And heart. People see writing as a hobby. Some do it for a living. For me, writing is life. Just like music. And food. And traveling. I am happy to exist at a time where people can write freely. I don’t know what I will do if I wasn’t allowed to write. Life would be too boring.
