I just finished watching the last episode of HTGAWM Season 4 and I can’t wait for the next season. Which means I will be needing therapy anytime soon since I also finished watching Agents of SHIELD Season 5 yesterday and I almost lost it during the “Fitz” scene (no spoilers here!).
TV Series’ are one of my guilty pleasures.
I could watch them all day but that would mean no work will be done. So I’ve developed a rewards system and I can start watching series or movies only if I’m done working that day. Productivity tip? Maybe.
Some people think it’s a waste of time but for me, it’s a way to relax and also to spark my creativity. Perhaps even to widen my vocabulary since English is not my first language. Not my second either.
Okay enough about me and let’s get down to the three series I really want everyone to watch. You, who’s reading this, watch these three series! Please. Now.
I’m not going to talk about what these series are all about because you’ll find better explanations if you Google them. Instead I’m going to give you reasons on why you need to watch them and why I like each one.
How To Get Away With Murder
I placed HTGAWM on top of my list because it’s the most recent series that I watched. I literally finished watching episode 15 of Season 4 a few minutes ago which is why I’m writing this post.
This series just keeps getting better and better. It’s like your best friend who lives far from you and when they come over you don’t want them to leave but they have to.
I’ve never wanted to be a law student until this series. I know it’s not all fun and games but HTGAWM makes law school look fun. And scary. I love how the characters are relatable and trust me, this series are full of hawt actors and actresses. Hey, Frank!
HTGAWM is still on Season 4 and there are around 15-16 episodes if I’m not mistaken, so if you binge watch it for a week, it’s totally doable. Not recommended for health reasons but doable.
Agents of SHIELD
Agents of SHIELD is a series me and my family enjoy watching. Especially my mother. So if you’re looking for a TV Series to watch with the whole family, this might be a better option. Or if you like to watch alone this is a great pick too.
I don’t really think that there’s a Marvel movie that I can compare this series to since the storyline is not focused on the superheroes instead it focuses on the day to day life of people and inhumans.
This series has its highs and lows because there are some episodes that are really good and some that are just okay. Well, just like any other series. But one thing’s for sure. Every episode will have you coming back for more.
I’m a very relaxed Marvel geek (sorry DC) which means I don’t have any Marvel comics in my room but I would watch every single Marvel movie and videos. Read a lot of stuff about it too. Attending an event like comic-con is on my bucket list and I would dress as Black Widow because I love Scarlet. But my ultimate dress-up dream is Princess Leia in slave costume. Although I would reserve that for another blogpost. *wink*
The 100
Last and definitely not the least, The 100 is a must-watch!
I started watching this series when I was in Poland last January and I think I finished all four seasons within a week.
This series has characters dying in every episode but I guess that’s how it is when you’re fighting for survival.
Another thing I like about the movie is the lead actor, Bellamy Blake. And he’s half filipino. If you start watching it now, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
