“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.” -Paul Prudhomme
Korean cuisine is something me and my family enjoy. In Manila, we love to dine at San Sung in Makati because the authenticity is there and when we’re in Malaysia, we always pay a visit to Hwa Ga, an unlimited Korean restaurant where you’ll never leave without feeling like you’re going to blow up.
Just as I’ve tried delicious korean foods in different restaurants, I’ve also tried the “not-so-good-ones”. And as a foodie, I’m always in search for the best food places in every city or country that I visit.
When we arrived from Manila, my mom wanted us to dine at BBQ Chicken. Didn’t really put my hopes up but one spicy odeng tang, one bibimbowl and 2 pc chicken later, boy was I wrong. It is D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S.
I won’t talk for everyone’s palate but it is delicious not just for me but my whole family keeps on coming back to this place. Especially for dinner. It was my first time but definitely not my last. I want to try their ramen and tteokboki (my two faves).
So if you’re in Butuan City, make sure to get your korean food fix at BBQ Chicken.
I usually don’t bring my camera when I dine with my family, especially when I’m in Butuan so I just used my phone. Food still looks good though. But I didn’t get the chance to take a pic of the ramen and fried chicken my sister ordered.
