Today I received an email from UpWork. It’s my 6th Year Anniversary in the UpWork Community! UpWork has been a great part of my life for the past 6 years. I was able to meet and work with awesome people. It allowed me to travel to more than 10 countries which is definitely one of the best perks of being a digital nomad.
It has been a while since I have posted here but I couldn’t ignore this day. I have been slacking off for a while now and it’s time to get up! I dragged myself out of the house and came here to Plaza Mont Kiara for the Thursday Market. I’m typing this at Starbucks and I can’t feel my fingers because it is too cold right here LOL. But I want to finish this before the day ends 🙂 Anyways, I bought a new book to remind me of this day and ate some foods I shouldn’t be eating, ha! Fried foods though.. Asian fried foods taste good, why?! LOL
I spent most of my morning in bed (really slacking off), my afternoon creating a new financial plan and now listening to motivational videos while blogging.
I won’t make this post a long one but I want to remind you, whoever you are (if you’re reading this), wherever you’re from, to not stop dreaming. You will eventually reach your goals, as long as you don’t stop reaching them. There will be failures along the way, but you are not a failure. Things can get very overwhelming but always hope for the best, joy really does come in the morning. Things can get slow, but they can get faster too and you’ll wish they’d be a little slower. There will be ups and downs. If the sun is not shining then create your own sunshine.
Here are some snaps from my previous travels! I can’t wait to visit Indonesia and Australia in the coming weeks! I can’t put into words how grateful I am to be able to visit different countries. Back in the day, I didn’t even want to leave my city. I just wanted to get married and start my family at 25. Now I’m 27 and I have more passport stamps than I have shoes. 😉 My mom jokingly told me the other day I would meet my husband in one of my travels. 🙂
