“There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world — because you realize there’s so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on.” – Unknown
Today is that day for me.
I’m halfway turning the page and I will do everything I can to turn the whole page completely. I have been writing a lot about my struggles lately and it shows in my blogposts. My creative juice is running dry but I’m determined to change the way I’m feeling and today is the day that I’m gonna do it.
There are days when I spiral back to the things that no longer serve me and make me feel bad. It made me realize that I’m still intact with my bad habits. The difference now is I admit it and I work my way out of it. It’s a good thing because I’m being more mindful in how I live my life.
When I catch myself in a bad mood or thinking thoughts that makes me feel anxious, I grab my phone and use the Simple Habit app. It’s really helpful in shifting my mindset. I believe that we should live in the present and when I notice that I’m starting to get anxious and agitated, it’s usually when I dwell in the past or get worried about the future.
I haven’t been giving myself the attention, care and love it deserves so today I’m deciding to give all I’ve got in taking caring of myself, my heart, mind, body and soul.
I have been stalling in taking action to achieve my goals and I’m really happy that I’m easing my way back into it.
Here are some of my short term goals:
1. Meditate for 30 days using the Simple Habit app.
2. Exercise for 3 days using the “Lose weight in 30 days” app.
3. Clean my wall closet and get rid of everything that I no longer use.
4. Fly to Manila to process my Schengen Visa.
5. Save more money for my Europe Trip.
6. Update my hairstyle and fashion style.
These are my top 6 short term goals that I’m aiming to finish before April ends.
I’ve already started cleaning my room but I find it hard to let go of some of my stuff. My sentimental self is strong in giving me reasons why I should keep these things so it’s gonna be a hard one when I finally put it inside the bag and give it away.
However, I’m more excited on what this year has in store for me because I believe that this year is gonna be a big one! 🙂
I’m attracting more clients to work with, more earning opportunities, more travels, lots of happiness, new adventures, great health and overall abundance in all areas of my life.
I love the law of attraction and it has done wonders in my life. Being grateful didn’t only change my life but it also changed me. Even though sometimes I get side track with everything that happens in my life, I quickly shift back to a positive, more grateful mindset.
In the future, I can see my happy and healthy self living in a beautiful glass house with a pool, married to a man who doesn’t only love me but also accepts me for who I am (definitely someone who loves the beach and traveling), having my own kids who loves chocolates and baking as much as I do, enjoying a lovely dinner with my family prepared by me, typing on my laptop in my nature-inspired home office with a touch of rustic design, having my own successful business, exploring the world, trying different cuisines and most of all, living in a peaceful world.
The joy that lazy days and summer wishes bring.
This is a different post from what I usually write but I’m very inspired to do this because I want to tap in to your dreams and goals.
Why?
Because “without knowing who you are, happiness cannot find you.”
I read that from a teabag tag and it made think. Like really think. Who am I? What do I really want? What makes me happy? What makes me sad? What makes me wake up in the morning? What is my last thought at night?
